Swan & Helvetas: Empowering Clean Water Access Through Long‑Term Partnership

Since 2002, Swan Analytical Instruments has proudly supported Helvetas’ water projects, reflecting our commitment to reliable quality, global reach, and local impact. This long-standing collaboration is more than a partnership—it is a shared mission to provide safe, clean water to communities that need it most.

 This year, we are pleased to continue this engagement with our support for Helvetas’ “Jikura – New Water” project in Mali. In the Bougouni region, many communities still rely on unsafe water sources, putting health at risk and limiting opportunities for education and income. The Jikura project works hand-in-hand with municipal authorities to improve water and sanitation services. Through a participatory process, residents set their priorities, which municipalities then turn into concrete, actionable plans.

By empowering local communities to shape their own solutions, the project ensures that improvements are sustainable, relevant, and community-driven—an approach that aligns with Swan’s own values of precision, reliability, and long-term impact.

 Our support of initiatives like Jikura demonstrates how Swan combines Swiss engineering excellence with a global mindset, helping Helvetas transform water access into lasting health, education, and economic benefits.
